Tuk Tuk Driver Siem Reap – Ley Tola

My first time in Siem Reap and it was wonderful. The people were friendly and the food was excellent! I arrived and got a Tuk Tuk from the airport to my hotel. My hotel was actually shut down so my driver Ley Tola (La for short) took me to a family run hotel just down the road. This worked out perfectly, it great value and a family run business which are good because I like to support small local businesses. I had nothing planned for my trip to Siem Reap and I was just going with the flow. La ended up being my driver the whole time. We arranged meeting time in front of the hotel and he was always early and waiting for me. For the time he spent taking me to the temples at Ankor Wat, markets, and everywhere else I wanted to go…. it was well worth it. He is a family man and he was always smiling, patient, and I found him very genuine and honest. He started out as my driver and I ended up making a new friend. I would trust him to guide my mom around Siem Reap. If you get the chance please go to Siem Reap and support the businesses, the people and use Ley Tola as your local guide!

While in Cambodia, call this man , he can be a guide, translator and Tuk Tuk driver.

Ley is GREAT!!! He offers very low rates but he offers full service, speaks great English. He is kind, dependable.

He took us to the best restaurants and all the temples. He made our trip very exiciting.

He speaks english. He pick us at the airport, He pick us at the hotel every morning and drop us at hotel after done.

He is trusted, recommended !
If I go back to Cambodia, He is the one I will call.

¡La mejor experiencia de todas!

Nuestro conductor de tuktuk que no llegó al aeropuerto para recogernos fue lo mejor que nos pudo haber pasado porque Ley La estaba allí para salvar el día. Nos llevó a nuestro hotel y se ofreció a recogernos al día siguiente. Nos llevó por un día a ver todos los templos. ¡Este fue el día que mi prometido me propuso matrimonio y Ley La se aseguró de que tuviéramos el mejor día! Se detuvo para dejarnos tomar café por la mañana. Incluso lo llevamos a almorzar a su lugar favorito para comer. ¡Es un guía turístico encantador y lo recomendamos encarecidamente!

Best Tuk Tuk Driver

Planning your first visit to Siem Reap? Make it truly special and memorable. My husband and I just had the best time in Siem Reap and our tuk tuk driver was a big reason. We hired Ley Tola, an English speaking tuk tuk driver. He met us at the airport. He loaded our 3 suitcases, one of them huge into the tuk tuk and then we hopped in. He drove us to the Marriott Courtyard and as arranged waited while we checked into the hotel and got refreshed. He asked us our preferences for what we would like to see first. We selected the Floating Village which was exceptional. He came along on our large private boat trip. When we got out to tour, he assisted my husband when ever he needed help climbing up terrain that is typical in 3rd world countries. The Floating Village is unlike anything we had ever seen. When we came back down the river and got back in the tuk tuk, Ley handed us ice cold bottles of water that he keeps in an ice chest in his tuk tuk. We were hungry so Ley suggested a restaurant that was attractive and suitable for all tourists. We found we enjoyed Cambodian foods. Ley then took us over to buy tickets to see Angkor Wat and the other temples for the next day. It is much easier and quicker to purchase tickets in the late afternoon than early in the morning of your visit day when all the other tourists are buying. The Cambodians take your picture which is then imprinted on your ticket. It was now late in the afternoon and we were ready for a swim at the hotel pool. Ley took us back and made arrangements to pick us up at 5 am the next morning so we could see the sun rise at Angkor Wat and visit all the other temples before the hottest heat of the day. As planned, Ley arrived before our 5 am departure time. He took us to all the temples, assisted my husband up steps when needed and offered ice cold water and bathroom breaks whenever desired. Following the temples he took us to other tourist sites we had selected. He also showed us a map of Siem Reap with many of the tourist sites you could select from. If you had a special request, he would also take you there. We were in the Old Market and gave a time for Ley to pick us up. We found Ley to be polite, a safe driver, caring, knowledgeable and over all good guy. He was our only transportation while we were in Cambodia. He drove us and our luggage to the airport for our departure. Because we were so happy with his services and low charges we asked if we could post his info. If you want to have a truly unique Cambodian vacation contact Ley so he can pick you up at the airport and help transport you around Siem Reap.
